SHIPMENT INFORMATION AND RETURNS POLICY
For all National Deliveries outside our local wholesale distribution area we rely on Fastway Couriers (Packages that are requested to be posted to a PO BOX may be subject to an additional postage charge ) Once full payment is received, orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours. Parcel Tracking Details will be emailed to you so you can track your order. Please note that the delivery times may be extended due to public holidays and circumstances within Australia Post & Fastway Couriers which are beyond the control of JB Metro South Coast Distributors. Therefore we will not be held liable or offer refunds for any deliveries received outside the following estimated time frames, based on business working days:
1- 2 days: Sydney, Melbourne, Albury, Canberra, Newcastle, South Coast, Southern Tablelands, Blue Mountains, Gosford, Erina, Wyong, Nowra, Kiama, Hunter Valley, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Northern Rivers, Gold Coast, Brisbane.
1 – 3 days: Adelaide, Geelong, Bendigo, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, Capricorn Coast, Mackay
2 – 5 days: Rest of NSW
3 – 5 days: Tasmania
2 – 9 days: Rest of VIC and QLD
10- 14 days: Perth, Rest of Australia
Shipment / Delivery fees are as stipulated when you proceed to checkout.
Please Note: If for any reason we cannot process or accept your order after payment is received, we will contact you by email or telephone to organise a refund.
If you are not home or available at the time of delivery the courier driver will take the parcel back to their depot and await your contact for a redelivery attempt. In the case of Australia Post they will take the parcel to what they consider to be your nearest post office, and you will need to collect it from there. Either way, the delivery driver should leave a “Sorry we missed you” card which will explain what to do in order to obtain your parcel.
If you have instructed us to leave your parcel without obtaining your signature (this can be done by entering your instructions under “Order Notes” on checkout) it is important to note that Southern Sweet Distributors will take absolutely no responsibility for the delivery or condition of the items received.
Claims & Refunds
DO NOT SIGN WITH COURIER UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED ALL YOUR ITEMS ARE RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION.
All our items leave our warehouse in perfect condition, however there is a small possibility the goods could get damaged in transit, which is out of our control. If this is the case, send the package back to us with the courier driver and we will replace any damaged goods. If you sign without checking your parcel, the goods become your responsibility and we will not replace any of the items you have received.
Perishable items such as confectionery are non-refundable. All other non- confectionery items (such as candy jars, paper bags, scoops, tongs etc.) can be returned at your expense within 7 days of receiving your goods. A full refund will be issued for the cost of the items returned providing the goods are received in perfect condition. Shipping fees are non- refundable.
